Overview

Three Diner (3 Diner) is a 100% Egyptian brand of American comfort food from Chef Studios, made with local ingredients. Instead of joining Cairo's crowded burger scene, it serves classic American sandwiches, led by a Philly cheesesteak billed as Egypt's most expensive sandwich. It started as a food truck at The Drive by the Waterway in New Cairo. The menu has grown to include chicken and steak Phillys, loaded fries, a slow-cooked short rib sandwich and a breakfast menu. It left the tank without a deal.

The pitch

In Season 3, Episode 18 of Shark Tank Egypt, Three Diner pitched its homegrown American comfort-food brand and its Philly cheesesteak, billed as Egypt's most expensive sandwich. The team presented a full expansion plan to take the concept beyond its New Cairo food-truck roots. The ask and the outcome are not recorded.
