Nile Naturals

Overview

Nile Naturals is a family-run Egyptian brand of handmade natural soaps, and the sharks singled out its packaging for praise. It offers people who want gentle everyday skincare an option made without artificial colorants or fragrances. Every 100g bar starts from the same base of olive, coconut and castor oils with glycerin and Rhassoul clay, then adds herbs and essential oils for particular skin needs. The bars are sold through Bloom Pharmacy for about EGP 295 each.

The pitch

In Season 4, Nile Naturals asked for EGP 1 million in exchange for 20% of the company. The sharks praised the brand's packaging, and the family behind it closed a deal with Ayman Abbas. A Season 4 recap later listed Nile Naturals among his three strongest investments of the season.
